How does wool bedding compare to other mattress materials?
Wool has many benefits over other mattress materials because it is all natural! Unlike synthetic mattress stuffing, wool does not need to be treated with harsh chemicals in order to meet fire-resistant safety standards. Instead, you get to sleep free from toxins. Wool also provides more loft than other materials and the wool filling can be renewed every few years for continued lift. Other mattresses have to be thrown away once they lose their loft.
Does your bedding have a guarantee?
Our wool mattresses include a 60 Nights of Sleep Satisfaction Guarantee. You have 60 nights to try out your wool mattress. If you are not completely satisfied you will get your money back! NOTE: All other products are NON-returnable.
Where does your ECO-Pure™ Wool come from?
Our Eco-Pure™ Wool comes from sheep raised right here in the United States. To meet our standards, the wool is never treated with harsh detergents or dyes. We keep the wool as natural as possible as we craft our bedding products.
Can a wool mattress go on any kind of bed frame?
Yes, wool mattresses can go on any bed frame but we recommend them on wood platform or panel bed frames. These natural wood beds provide a solid foundation for the mattress.
Are your bedding products handmade?
Yes, all our mattresses, pillows, and sheets are handmade right here in the USA. Based out of Wisconsin, we make our bedding by hand so we can keep the materials free from toxins. The wool is washed without harsh detergents or dyes. Every product is custom made!

What are the benefits of ECO-Pure™ Wool bedding?
ECO-Pure™ Wool is used in all our bedding products. This wool is an all-natural alternative to synthetic mattress and pillow materials which can contain toxic chemicals.
Our wool is flame resistant, hypoallergenic, and resistant to dust mites, mildew/mold, and water. Wool is a natural insulator and incredibly lightweight. Our bedding evenly distributes weight to provide pain relief as you sleep.
Are ECO-Pure™ Wool mattresses available in custom sizes?
Yes, our mattresses can be made to fit custom beds. We handcraft each and every mattress, topper, and pillow to suit your specifications. Contact us directly to place a custom mattress order.
Do I need to pick up my new mattress or is it delivered?
Our mattresses are delivered via FedEx, Spee-Dee, or freight. Contact us for details about shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or anywhere outside the United States. If you opt for White Glove delivery your new mattress will be set up for you (applies to Signature Mattress only).
Are wool mattress toppers better than foam pads?
Yes! Memory foam mattress pads are made from synthetic materials which can trigger allergies and asthma. The pads wear down quickly if they are regularly used. Wool mattress toppers just need to be rotated and fluffed to maintain their supportive fill. And all-natural wool is better for the environment!
What do I need for a complete ECO-Pure™ Wool bedding set?
The Wool Bed Company™ has everything you need for a completely organic, all-natural sleep experience. Start with a wool mattress with a topper. Then use 100% organic cotton sheets and comforters with a wool protector pad to protect the mattress from accidental spills. Last, use wool-filled pillows to complete your sleep set.
How do Surround Ewe™ wool bedding products work to relieve aches and pains and help me sleep better?
Wool is a natural fiber that shapes to your body reducing pressure points and naturally generates warmth that soothes the aches. People that sleep with Surround Ewe™ Sleep System Products find that they fall asleep more quickly and that their aches and pains are reduced.
Wool has a natural resilience as a result of the crimps (or "springiness") found in each wool fiber. These attributes create a natural weight-support system.

Purchase a Carry Ewe™ Traveler to take with you and enjoy a good night's sleep even away from home. The carrying case protects it and makes traveling a breeze.
How do I care for my wool bedding products?
The most important thing you can do to protect your ECO-Pure™ Wool mattress, topper, and pillows is to purchase the washable coverlets and cases for them.
In addition, every time you wash your bedding, fluff and turn your Soothe Ewe™ Mattress Topper. Remove your Soothe Ewe™ Mattress Topper from your bed about every three months and air it out by placing it outside on a blanket for a few hours. Do NOT machine wash or dry clean wool products.
